Effective November 17, 2024, applicants making electronic payments using debit and credit cards to the Licence Appeal Tribunal – Automobile Accident Benefits Service will see the new WORLDLINE logo instead of TD Canada Trust (TD) logo on the payment webpage.

Note: Documents you submit to the tribunals are available to the public, on requests, subject to limited exceptions.
How to file
All LAT-AABS forms, except for a request for a Summons to a Witness, must be:
- served to the other parties named in the application, and
- filed with LAT-AABS along with a completed Certificate of Service form as proof you have served the other party.
A request for a Summons to a Witness only needs to be filed with LAT-AABS.
Methods for filing
e-File
LAT-AABS e-File provides a simpler and faster option to file applications, responses and other documents.
The e-File instructions and naming conventions have been developed to help users get started with LAT-AABS e-File and ensure proper naming conventions are used when submitting documents.
If you experience any issues accessing or submitting documents using e-File, please email us at LATRegistrar@ontario.ca and include “e-File” in the subject line.
LAT-AABS does not accept applications via email. However, other forms, evidence and documentation can be emailed to LATRegistrar@ontario.ca.

Note: If you submit documents by mail or courier, you may experience processing delays.
Filing fees
The fee to file an application with LAT-AABS is $106.00. The full fee is non-refundable once LAT-AABS has confirmed that it can go ahead with your claim.
You can provide the application fee to LAT-AABS by:
- e-File and pay online with a credit or debit card backed by Visa or Mastercard
- certified cheque, money order or bank draft, payable to the Minister of Finance
- providing your credit card information with your application.
Important: If paying by credit card, please note we do not accept applications with credit card information over email. Applications with credit card information are only accepted via mail or courier.
