Effective February 2, 2026, the Licence Appeal Tribunal – General Service (LAT-GS) will use a new way to schedule its future events – the canvassing-based scheduling model. This includes oral hearings and rescheduled case conferences.
As per the new canvassing-based scheduling model, after the initial Case Conference, LAT-GS will email parties a list of available dates for their event. The parties will choose three mutually preferred dates from the options provided, for consideration.
Once LAT-GS receives the preferred dates, it will schedule the event and send parties a Notice of Case Conference or Hearing within 5-10 business days.
