As a result of Zoom ending its support for 32-bit systems, starting December 15, 2025, Zoom will only work on computers with a Windows 64-bit operating system. To join a Zoom meeting, you must use the 64-bit Zoom Workplace application or a compatible 64-bit web browser. This doesn’t affect Apple MacOS computers.

This change made by Zoom affects all their users and not just Tribunals Ontario users attending video proceedings.

Due to a service disruption at Canada Post, mail services will be impacted at our tribunals. Parties are asked to use online options such as e-filing portals where available, or email.

If email or online options are not available, parties may also use courier services to send their documents. If you, or a party, are waiting to receive documents from a tribunal, email or a courier may be used.

Our Tribunals

Animal Care Review Board

Resolves disputes about orders and decisions from animal welfare inspectors and the Chief Animal Welfare Inspector.

Assessment Review Board

Resolves appeals about property assessment, classification, and some aspects of municipal taxation.

Child and Family Services Review Board

Conducts reviews and holds hearings on matters that affect children, youth and families in Ontario.

Custody Review Board

Conducts reviews and makes recommendations on the placement of young people in custody or detention.

Fire Safety Commission

Resolves disputes about fire safety matters, including orders made by inspectors or the Fire Marshal.

Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario

Resolves claims of discrimination and harassment under the Human Rights Code.

Landlord and Tenant Board

Resolves disputes of landlord, tenant and co-op members under the Residential Tenancies Act.

Licence Appeal Tribunal – Automobile Accident Benefits Service

Resolves disputes about an insured person’s entitlement to, or amount of, statutory motor vehicle accident benefits.

Licence Appeal Tribunal – General Service

Resolves a wide range of disputes including licensing orders, monetary orders, compliance orders, compensation claims, and many others.

Ontario Parole Board

Makes decisions about parole and temporary absences for applicants serving a sentence of less than two years in a provincial correctional institution.

Ontario Special Education Tribunal

Resolves disputes about the identification or placement of a student with exceptional learning needs.

Social Benefits Tribunal

Resolves appeals of social assistance decisions.
