Custody Review Board
The Custody Review Board (CRB) reviews and makes recommendations on the placement of young people in custody or detention in Ontario
A youth in custody can apply to the CRB for a review of their placement, their transfer from open to secure custody or the decision made by the Provincial Director to deny their temporary release or reintegration leave from a custody facility. The application must be made within 30 days of the transfer or decision.
To file your application with the CRB, call 416-327-4673 or 1-888-728-8823 and speak to a case processing officer who will take your details over the phone.
