November 25, 2024

On November 27, 2024, Tribunals Ontario will replace its current website with a new modernized website that will provide a more intuitive, user-friendly online experience for users. Online services, forms, and resources will continue to be available as usual.

November 18, 2024

Effective November 17, 2024, applicants making electronic payments using debit and credit cards to the Landlord and Tenant Board will see the new WORLDLINE logo instead of TD Canada Trust (TD) logo on the payment webpage.

Due to a labour disruption at Canada Post, mail services have been impacted at the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB). Parties are encouraged to use the Tribunals Ontario Portal.

About the LTB

The Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) resolves:

  • disputes between residential landlords and tenants
  • eviction applications filed by non-profit housing co-operatives

The LTB also provides information about its practices and procedures and the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants under the Residential Tenancies Act.
