Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) Key Performance Indicators Archive

The LTB resolves disputes between residential landlords and tenants and resolves eviction applications filed by non-profit housing co-operatives. The LTB also provides information about its practices and procedures and the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.

Tribunals Ontario’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) track the performance of our tribunals in a consistent manner and will be used to continually monitor and improve processes at tribunals. These KPIs are part of Tribunals Ontario’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and to ensure that the services we provide meet the needs of our users.

For more information on the meaning of key terms, refer to our terms and definitions. For more information about KPIs and how they were calculated, see Key Performance Indicators.

The definitions for each type of application referenced above are as follows:

  • L5: Application for an Above Guideline Increase
  • L9: Application to Collect Rent the Tenant Owes
