Due to a labour disruption at Canada Post, mail services have been impacted at some of our tribunals.
Parties are encouraged to use email when submitting documents to the tribunal. Documents may be sent by courier if email is not an option. If you, or a party, are waiting to receive documents from a tribunal, email or a courier may be used.
If you have any questions, please contact the tribunal directly.
Open data
The Tribunals Ontario data inventory lists all Tribunals Ontario datasets and identifies whether each dataset is open, under review, or restricted under Ontario’s Open Data Directive. The directive requires every provincial agency to publish a list of datasets they create, collect or manage. The goal is to improve transparency and accountability.
The Ontario Data Catalogue indicates if a dataset is:
- open data – The dataset is available.
- under review – The dataset is still being screened. It may become open or it may be restricted and not released.
- restricted from being open – The dataset has been screened and will not be released to the public. The record will be listed in the Data Catalogue, but the data will not be shared.
- inactive – The dataset is no longer actively maintained and its update is discontinued, or the dataset has to be replaced with a newer or modified version of the dataset. The existing data will continue to be available.
To download reports for one of the datasets marked “open”, click on the title of the dataset. You will be directed to a page with a list of reports. Reports are available from January 2016 to present.
The Tribunals Ontario annual reports contain some data tables that are not part of the inventory. Visit the Governance Accountability Documents webpage to download Tribunals Ontario annual reports from 2010-11 to present.

Child and Family Services Review Board (CFSRB) and Custody Review Board (CRB) – Applications Received
This report provides the number of applications received broken down by type, including the Custody Review Board.
Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Activity report: Decisions Issued
This report categorizes all decisions that have been issued by the HRTO within a timeframe specified by the user.

Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Intake report: Applications Received – Applicant representation
A user can select a date range. The report will show the number of applications received during that time, and whether the applicant was represented or self-represented at the time of filing.
Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Intake report: Applications Received – Caseload
This report shows the number of applications received, reactivated and closed within a specified time frame.
Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Intake report: Applications Received – Grounds
The report shows the total number of applications received within a specified time period, and a breakdown (totals, percentages) of the grounds of discrimination cited in those applications.
Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Intake report: Applications Received – Region
This report shows the number of applications filed by region within a specified time period.
Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) – Intake report: Applications Received – Social Area
The report shows the total number of applications received within a specified time period, and a breakdown (totals, percentages) of the social areas cited in those applications.
Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) – Average Days to First Hearing Report
This report shows the user how long on average it takes from when a specific type of application is processed to the time of the first hearing. It breaks down the information by each application, for each office and rates it against the chosen performance standard measured in days (shown as a percentage). It also provides the provincial average for each application and performance standard as a percentage.
Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) – Average Days to Hearing and Order Report
This report will show the user the average days from filing to the first hearing date, the average days from the first hearing to the final hearing, the average days from the final hearing to the order and the average days from filing to the final order. This information is broken down by application and also averages all landlord applications against the chosen performance standard, and all tenant applications against the performance standard. This report can be done for one regional office or for the entire province.
Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) – Queue Contact User Time Report
Call centre report tracks average wait times, talk times and abandoned calls during a specific time period on the LTB‘s call centre. For English and French queue.
Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) – Applications Received by e-File
This report shows the number of T2, T6, L1 and L2 applications received through LTB e-File and compares those numbers to the total number of applications received in the same time period. The four application types account for 80% of all applications received by the LTB. They are the only application types that can be filed through e-File.
Social Benefits Tribunal (SBT) – Appeals Received
The report provides the number of incoming appeals divided by OW and ODSP appeals.
